01What this policy is for
This policy explains what we store on your device when you use www.npemarket.com or the Client Portal at my.npemarket.com, why we store it, how long it stays there, and how you control it.
It sits alongside our Privacy Policy (/en/legal/privacy), which explains what we do with personal data generally. Where a cookie collects personal data, both documents apply.
02What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back on your next visit. It lets a site recognise your browser between page loads — which is what keeps you logged in, keeps your language selection, and keeps your place in a form.
We also use technologies that behave like cookies without being one: local storage and session storage in your browser, pixels in some emails, and software development kits in our mobile applications. Everything in this policy applies to those too. We use "cookie" throughout to cover all of them.
03The three things cookies do here
They make the site work. Keeping you signed in to the Client Portal, remembering that you chose Persian rather than English, holding a form's contents while you complete it, and protecting the site against automated abuse. Without these the site does not function, and they cannot be switched off.
They tell us how the site is used. Which pages are read, which are abandoned, where a visit came from, and whether something is broken. This is measurement in aggregate; it is not us watching an individual.
They measure advertising. Where we advertise, cookies tell us which campaign a visitor arrived from and whether they went on to open an account.
04Consent — what applies to you
Strictly necessary cookies are set without asking, because the site cannot be provided without them and no law requires consent for them.
Everything else — analytics, preference and advertising cookies — is set only if you agree. You are asked on your first visit. You can decline, and you can change your mind later at any time, through the cookie settings control on our site. Declining does not restrict your access to the site or to your account.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR govern this, and consent for the non-essential categories is obtained before those cookies are set. Where our services are also subject to other national law, we follow it.
05What we set
Trading itself does not depend on any of the consent-required categories. Declining analytics and advertising has no effect on your account, your pricing or your execution.
Tag manager. Analytics and advertising tags on our site are deployed through a Google Tag Manager container. The container itself sets no tracking cookie; the tags it loads do, and those tags load only after consent.

06How to control cookies
On our site. Use the cookie settings control to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops further collection; it does not retroactively delete data already collected, though you may ask us to delete that under our Privacy Policy.
In your browser. Every major browser lets you see stored cookies, delete them, block third-party cookies, or block cookies entirely, in its settings or preferences. Private or incognito mode discards cookies when the window closes.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the Client Portal — you will not be able to stay signed in. That is a consequence of how sessions work, not a restriction we impose.
On mobile. iOS and Android both provide an advertising identifier that you can reset or limit in the device settings.
Do Not Track. Browsers send this signal inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for honouring it, so we do not rely on it. Use the cookie settings control instead, which we do act on.
07Third parties
Some cookies are set by companies other than us, in their own name, and the data they collect is governed by their own privacy terms as well as ours. Where we engage a provider to process data on our behalf, that engagement is under a written contract requiring them to act only on our instructions.
We do not sell the data these cookies produce, and we do not allow it to be used for another organisation's own marketing.
08Links to other sites
Our pages link to sites we do not control — the trading platform vendor, payment providers, social channels, and pages referenced in our research. Their cookies are theirs, and this policy does not cover them. Read the policy on the site you have moved to.
09Changes
We review this policy at least annually and whenever the technologies we use change materially. The version published on this page is the current version, and its issue date is shown at the top. Where a change introduces a new category of cookie requiring consent, we will ask you again rather than rely on the consent you gave before.
