Transfers Between Wallet and Trading Accounts

Wallet to account, account to wallet, and account to account — instant, free, and the one rule that blocks them.

The three transfers

  • Wallet → trading account. Funds a deposit into the account you trade from. Instant.
  • Trading account → wallet. The first step of a withdrawal. Instant, subject to margin.
  • Trading account → trading account. Goes through the wallet in one step. Useful for moving profit from an ECN account to a Standard one, or funding a new account.

There is no fee, and no limit on how often you transfer.

Steps

  1. Step 1: Open Transfer

In the client area, choose Transfer from the wallet or the account's menu.

  2. Step 2: Choose source and destination

The dropdowns list the wallet and every trading account with its current balance.

  3. Step 3: Enter the amount and confirm

The balance updates in MT5 within a few seconds. If it does not, refresh the terminal with the Navigator's right-click → Refresh.

The margin rule

A transfer out of a trading account is refused if it would leave open positions without enough margin. The message says so explicitly. Either reduce or close positions, or transfer a smaller amount — the maximum available is shown as Free to transfer, which is free margin less a safety buffer.

The transfer shows completed but MT5 still shows the old balance.

Refresh MT5 or sign out and back in. The balance is on the server; the terminal caches it.

Can I transfer to another client's account?

No. Transfers are between your own wallet and your own accounts only.
