Anti-money laundering & know your client
How NPE Market Limited verifies who you are, monitors activity on your account, and what we are obliged to report — written plainly, so you know what to expect before you open an account.
Four controls, applied to every account
The same checks apply to everyone. None of it is discretionary — these are the obligations that come with holding client funds.
Customer due diligence
Identity and residential address are verified before an account can be funded. We collect your full name, date of birth, nationality and address, and check them against the documents you upload.
Enhanced due diligence
Politically exposed persons, clients in higher-risk jurisdictions, and accounts whose activity does not match the profile given at signup are asked to evidence source of funds and source of wealth.
Ongoing monitoring
Deposits, withdrawals and trading patterns are monitored for the life of the account. Activity inconsistent with a client profile is reviewed, and may be paused while it is.
Reporting & record keeping
Where suspicion of money laundering or terrorist financing cannot be cleared, we are required to report it — and prohibited from telling the client that we have. Records are kept for five years after the relationship ends.
What we will ask you for
Upload these once and the account is usually reviewed within one business day.
Questions traders actually ask
Why can I not just deposit and start trading?
Because NPE Market Limited is registered with FinCEN as a Money Services Business, verification is a legal obligation rather than a preference. An account can be opened and a demo used immediately, but it cannot be funded until identity and address are verified.
Can I deposit from my partner or my company card?
No. Third-party payments are refused and returned to source. The card or bank account used to deposit must be in the same name as the trading account, and withdrawals go back to the method the deposit came from.
What happens if I do not complete verification?
The account stays open and unfunded. If documents are outstanding after a deposit has been made, trading and withdrawals are held until the review is complete — which is why we ask for them first.
Who sees my documents?
Our compliance team, and any competent authority making a lawful request. Documents are never used for marketing, never sold, and held only as long as the retention period requires.
My documents were rejected — what now?
The usual reasons are a cropped corner, glare across the photo, an expired document, or an address document older than six months. Compliance will tell you which applies, and a corrected re-upload is enough.
Do you accept clients from every country?
No. We do not open accounts for residents of jurisdictions under comprehensive sanctions, or where offering our services would breach local law. The signup form will tell you if your country of residence is not served.
Something unclear? Ask before you deposit
